At Charlotte Josephine, we hope you are delighted with your purchase. However, if you are not entirely satisfied, you may return your item in accordance with the conditions set out below.

Personalized Products & Right of Withdrawal
Under applicable consumer law, customers have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving the product. However, this right does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalized.

If you choose to personalize your bag, it is custom-made according to your specific request. As a result, the right of withdrawal does not apply, and the product cannot be returned or exchanged.

This exclusion only applies to the personalization itself. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or does not match the agreed specifications, please contact us, and we will provide an appropriate solution in accordance with your statutory rights.

Right of Withdrawal

Consumers within the European Union have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing a reason.

You must notify us of your decision to withdraw within 14 days from the date of delivery. After notification, you have an additional 14 days to return the product to us.

Consumers outside the European Union are granted a 14-day return period in line with our policy. Local laws in your country of residence may provide additional rights.

 

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in its original condition

  • The product must show no signs of wear, damage, or alteration

  • Original packaging, dust bags, and any included accessories must be returned where possible

You are responsible for handling the product with care during the withdrawal period. If the product shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect its nature, characteristics, and functionality, we reserve the right to reduce the refund accordingly.

Charlotte Josephine reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

 

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For international returns, any customs duties, import taxes, or additional charges are the responsibility of the customer.

We strongly recommend using a fully tracked and insured shipping service. Charlotte Josephine cannot be held responsible for lost, damaged, or delayed return shipments.

Risk of return shipment remains with the customer until the parcel has been received at our return address.

 

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will process your refund within 14 days.

Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used at checkout, unless otherwise agreed.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever occurs first.

 

Repairs

At Charlotte Josephine, we believe in timeless craftsmanship and lasting quality.

Should your piece require repair due to wear, accidental damage, or unforeseen circumstances, we offer a repair service at cost, subject to assessment.
